About Rotate PDF Pages

Rotating sets the orientation of pages and saves it in the file, so the PDF opens the right way in every viewer, printer and phone. Rotate all pages at once or just the ones that are sideways.

Many viewers only rotate the view temporarily; this tool writes the rotation into the PDF itself. Text and images are not re-encoded, so nothing loses quality.

  • Scans often have only one or two sideways pages: rotate just those with the arrows under each thumbnail.
  • Rotation is in steps of 90°; to straighten a slightly tilted scan, re-scan it.
